Start a group

Starting a group is pretty easy! You just need 3–5 interested friends and some connections.

Who to invite

You want 3–5 trusted friends. Make sure to ask them whether they’re interested first before you invite them. That way you avoid sharing identites with people disinterested.

Where to chat

The main network is on Signal because it is widespread among activists, friendly to nontechnical people, and well encrypted. It is strongly recommend to use Signal if possible. If you use another medium, make sure you have at least one connection with a group on Signal.

How to connect

Once you’ve started the group, simply ask the other members to make their own groups. This creates a multi-root decentralized network with limited visibility.
